AFU repel 17 enemy attacks near Avdiyivka – General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) repulsed 17 enemy attacks on the Avdiyivka Axis. In total, 69 combat clashes took place at the front during the day.

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the AFU from its morning review.

The enemy conducted seven missile, and 34 airstrikes, and 59 attacks using MLRSes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolayiv Regions came under artillery fire.

Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi Axes

In the area of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group, the russians maintain a military presence in the border areas, conduct active diversionary activities, and increase the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

Kupiyansk Axis

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group, the enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assaults in the areas of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka and Kyslivka settlements of the Kharkiv Region, where the defenders repelled 11 attacks.

Lyman Axis

With the support of aviation, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assaults near Novoyehorivka, Luhansk Region, where our soldiers repelled four attacks.

Bakhmut Axis

With the support of aviation, the enemy carried out assaults in the areas of Dubovo-Vasylivka, east of Klishchiyivka and Andriyivka of the Donetsk Region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled about ten attacks.

At the same time, the AFU continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment and entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.

Avdiyivka Axis

In the zone of responsibility of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Troops Group, the occupiers do not stop trying to surround Avdiyivka. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The offensive actions of the enemy southeast of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Avdiyivka, and Sieverne of the Donetsk Region were unsuccessful. Here, the AFU repelled 17 attacks.

Mariyinka Axis

Defenders repelled 24 attacks by invaders in Mariyinka and Novomykhailivka Districts of the Donetsk Region.

Shakhtarsk Axis

The enemy, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assaults near Staromayorske, Donetsk Region, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks.

Melitopol Axis

The defense forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation on the Melitopol Axis, causing the occupation troops to lose manpower and equipment and exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

Kherson Axis

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Security Guard, they conduct a counter-battery fight on the defensive line and inflict fire damage on the enemy's rear.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made four strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy. Also, one Kh-59 guided air missile was destroyed by anti-aircraft defense.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 11, analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said that the invaders allegedly entered the outskirts of the village of Stepove, north of Avdiyivka.
