The application for pumping russian gas to Europe through Ukraine and the Sudzha gas metering station is 42.4 million cubic meters per day with zero volume through the Sokhranovka gas pipeline, the hydrocarbon monopoly of the terrorist country of the russian federation Gazprom said, Reuters reported.
A day earlier, the application was at 39.7 million m³.
In May 2022, Ukraine stopped receiving transit gas through the Sokhranovka station, citing force majeure circumstances and proposing to transfer all transit volumes to Sudzha.
In September 2022, the main supply route for russian gas to Europe, the Nord Stream pipeline, was completely stopped.
The transit of russian gas through Poland to Germany through the Yamal-Europe pipeline, through which up to 15% of Gazprom's export supplies to Europe and Turkiye passed, was suspended last year after russian sanctions in response to the Polish owner of the gas pipeline.
