In October 2023, the sales of new passenger cars increased by 83% year over year to 5.700.
This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that compared to September, the sales of new passenger cars increased by 0.7%.
Among new passenger cars, Toyota cars were in the greatest demand in September – 929 registered cars.
In second place are Volkswagen cars (574 registered cars), third place in the ranking is occupied by Skoda cars (477 cars), fourth place is BMW cars (461 cars), and fifth place is Renault (432 cars).
The most sold car in October was the Renault Duster (387 cars sold).
Since the beginning of the year, 49,600 new cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 60% more than in the same period of 2022.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2022, the sale of new passenger cars decreased by 63% year over year to 37.900 units.
