Almost 80 combat clashes. Invaders attack in 7 axes and suffer significant losses near Avdiyivka

The troops of the aggressor country of the russian federation are attacking in the east and south, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully hold the defense and continue the assault south of Bakhmut and the offensive in the Melitopol axis. Over the past 24 hours, 78 combat clashes took place at the front, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning briefing on October 26.

In the zone of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG) in the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Siversk and Slobozhanshchyna axes, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the border in the Belgorod Oblast of the russian federation.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSTG in the Kupyansk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 enemy attacks in the area of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka settlements of the Kharkiv Region.

In the Lyman axis, the Ukrainian army is on the defensive, having successfully repelled all russian attacks near Nadiya and Makiyivka of the Luhansk Region.

In the Bakhmut axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 10 attacks by the occupiers in the Bohdanivka, Ivanivskw, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka districts of the Donetsk Region. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk Region, inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, and are entrenching themselves at the achieved boundaries.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria OSTG in the Avdiyivka axis, the enemy does not stop trying to surround Avdiyivka, actively uses aviation, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine firmly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on it. 15 attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of Stepove, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, and Sieverne of the Donetsk Region.

In the Maryinka axis, the russians conducted unsuccessful assaults in the Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka districts of the Donetsk Region. 20 attacks were repelled here.

In the Shakhtarsk and Zaporizhzhia axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks by the occupiers in the districts of Vodiane, Novoukrayinka, Staromayorske of the Donetsk Region, and Verbove of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

"At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol axis, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, exhaust the enemy along the entire front line," the General Staff emphasized.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa OSTG in the Kherson axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting a counter-battery fight, inflicting fire damage on the enemy's rear.

During the past day, the Ukrainian aviation carried out seven strikes on the areas of concentration of russian personnel. Units of the missile forces hit three ammunition depots, six artillery pieces, and the enemy's anti-aircraft radar station.
