112 Members of the Verkhovna Rada received in September compensation for the cost of housing rental from the state budget for a total amount of UAH 2.31 million.
This is evidenced by data on the website of the parliament, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the list of MPs published on the Rada's website, who were paid compensation for renting a house or renting a hotel room in September, the total amount of expenses compensated to MPs for renting a house was UAH 2,317,700.
The average amount of compensation accrued to an MP for the month made UAH 20,150.
Mostly, MPs received compensation for living in rented housing in August.
MP from the Batkivshchyna All-Ukrainian Association faction Oleh Meidych received the largest amount of compensation - UAH 59,800 (for living in June-July), two MPs at once were in the second place in terms of the amount of payment - Olena Vintoniak (Servant of the People) and Yana Zinkevych (European Solidarity) - UAH 40,300 (for living in July-August), MP from the Servant of the People Olena Kopanchuk was in the third place - UAH 39,000 (for living in July-August).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 113 MPs received compensation in August for the cost of housing rental from the state budget for a total of UAH 2.33 million.
