During the past day, October 19, the military terrorist states of the russian federation attacked peaceful settlements of the Kherson Region 97 times, firing 461 shells using mortars, artillery, Grad MLRSes, AGSes, tanks, aviation, and UAVs. The enemy fired 36 shells at the city of Kherson.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on his Telegram channel.
The russian military targeted the residential quarters of the settlements of the region, the administrative building and the educational institution in Beryslav, and the administrative building in Kherson.
As a result of russian aggression, seven people were injured.
In addition, today, around 4 a.m., the russian army struck two settlements in the Kherson Region with airstrikes.
The enemy dropped four aerial bombs on Zmiyivka. Two more CABs targeted Novoberyslav.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on October 19, during the shelling of the Kherson Region, the russian occupiers fired a projectile containing propaganda materials instead of ammunition.
Also, the aviation of the russian army of occupation made 12 strikes on populated areas in the liberated part of the Kherson Region. It is known about two injured civilians.
At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) confirmed the active actions of the AFU on the left bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson Region.
According to the analysts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), on October 17-18, units of two marine infantry brigades of the AFU most likely crossed the Dnipro River and landed on the left bank of the Kherson Region.
