1 ship leaves ports of Great Odesa, 2 ships arrive

On October 18, the vessel DSM Everton left the ports of Great Odesa to pass through the temporary Black Sea corridor, while the vessels Akson Sara and Lolo Gate arrived at the ports for loading.

Andrii Klymenko, the head of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"All vessels successfully passed the most dangerous section along the coast of Ukraine in the Odesa Region and entered the territorial sea of Romania or entered the ports of Greater Odesa. Thus, since September 16, 2023, thirty-six vessels with a total deadweight of 1.5 have arrived at the ports of Greater Odesa through the Ukrainian grain corridor million tons. During the same period, 21 ships left the ports of Great Odesa, and the total deadweight (volume of cargo) was 0.67 million tons," he wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 21, the bulk carrier Resilient Africa arrived at the Turkish Bosphorus Strait.

This is the first ship with grain from Ukraine that passed through the Black Sea through the temporary corridor.

On July 17, russia announced the withdrawal of shipping safety guarantees in the Black Sea to ensure the "grain corridor."
