In September, 9,670 deals worth UAH 14.37 billion (-28% to August 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva stock exchange; since the beginning of the year, the number of deals made 74,220 worth UAH 121.71 billion (+134% against the January-September period of 2022).
This follows from a statement by the exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In total, 24,230 deals worth UAH 54.2 billion (+43% to August 2023) were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in September 2023, and 194,200 deals worth UAH 347.6 billion were made since the beginning of the year (+171% to January-September 2022)
Since the beginning of the year, debt instruments have traditionally dominated the structure of trading on Perspektyva: government bonds - 87.71%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and countries - 12.29%.
On the exchange stock market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 93.49%, bonds of enterprises and foreign countries - 6.49%, shares, and joint investment institutions’ securities - 0.02%.
The share of the Perspektyva stock exchange in the total exchange turnover in January-September is 35%, including in relation to government bonds - 33%, in relation to bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and states - 66%, in the total number of transactions - 38%.
The volume of trading on Perspektyva in September compared to August increased by 24%, and the number of transactions decreased by 13%.
15.19% of trades were conducted on the repo market, 1.16% - on the order market, and 83.65% - on the address market.
Compared to the same period in 2022, the volume of trading on Perspektyva increased 2.3 times, and the number of transactions increased 3.6 times.
In September, contracts on Perspektyva were concluded with 35 financial instruments (+3 over August), from the beginning of 2023 - with 64 (-3 over January-September 2022).
As of September 30, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektiva stock exchange amounted to 250, of which 157 were listed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September, 11,070 deals worth UAH 11.58 billion (-28% to August 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva stock exchange; since the beginning of the year, the number of deals made 64,540 worth UAH 107.34 billion (+121% against the January-September period of 2022).
