Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of the morning of Friday, September 22, amounted to 480 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 274,950 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 40 artillery systems and 38 missiles.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 22, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 274,950 (+480) persons were eliminated,
- tanks - 4,644 (+6) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 8,891 (+8) units,
- artillery systems - 6,177 (+40) units,
- MLRS - 785 (+4) units,
- air defense systems - 528 units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 316 units,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 4,858 (+8) units,
- cruise missiles - 1,517 (+38) units,
- ships/boats - 20 units,
- submarines - 1 unit,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 8,690 (+20) units,
- special equipment - 912 (+1).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on the morning of Thursday, September 21, amounted to 490 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 274,470 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 41 artillery systems, 15 armored combat vehicles and 29 drones.
