During the past day, on August 10, the military of the terrorist state of the Russian Federation fired 60 times at peaceful settlements of the Kherson Region, firing 237 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads MLRSes, UAVs, and aviation. In particular, the enemy fired ten shells at the city of Kherson.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on his Telegram channel.
Thus, the Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the settlements of the region, the premises of the humanitarian aid center, the territory of the garden society of the Kherson District, the territory of the factory, and the medical institution in the city of Kherson.
Nine people were wounded due to Russian aggression.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, overnight into August 7, the Russian occupying army shelled Kherson several times with artillery. As a result of terrorist attacks by Russians, a woman was killed, and twelve other people were wounded and injured.
Last Thursday, August 3, the Russian invaders shelled the center of liberated Kherson twice.
As a result of the first shelling, three passengers of the trolleybus, which was passing near the place of arrival of the Russian shells, were wounded.
For the second time, four rescuers were injured. They came under fire from the Russians when they were putting out the fire that broke out after the first shelling.
