In July, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange increased by 48.2% to UAH 2.276 billion over June.
The exchange has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that the total volume of trading on the Ukrainian Exchange in July was UAH 2,276,330,170.94, and the total number of transactions was 13,439.
In the trading structure for July 2023, government bonds (OVDPs) accounted for 95.15% of the total turnover, or UAH 2,165,896,392.86; shares - 0.31%, or UAH 7,084,964.54; investment certificates - 0.01%, or UAH 147,733.20; foreign securities - 4.52%, or UAH 102,936,808.40; and corporate bonds - 0.01% or UAH 264,271.94.
It is noted that in July, the index of Ukrainian shares (UX index) increased by 14.2% from 1,452.28 to 1,658.92 points.
The leaders in the share securities market in July were: Donbasenergo PJSC (UAH 5.950 million), Raiffeisen Bank Aval JSC (UAH 0.984 million), and VSPIF UNIVER.UA /Yarosvav Mudryi:Fond Aktsii (UAH 0.094 million).
The leaders of circulation on the debt securities market in July were:
- 204150 government bonds, repayment 26.02.2025 (UAH 1,162.2 million);
- 227409 government bonds, USD-nominated, repayment 21.03.2024 (UAH 171.1 million);
- 226286 government bonds, repayment 26.06.2024 (UAH 161.2 million).
The leading operators of the stock and fund certificate market in July were BTC Broker, Univer Capital, and Dzherelo Ltd.
The leading operators of the bond market in July were Sky Bank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval and Ukreximbank.
In turn, the leading operators of the foreign securities market in July were Dragon Capital, Daliz Finance FC, and BTC Broker.
Ukrainian Exchange is a liquidity center for stocks and derivatives in Ukraine.
The index of Ukrainian shares is calculated from the start of trading on the Ukrainian Exchange on March 26, 2009.
The initial value was taken equal to 500 points.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange increased by 141.4% to UAH 1.536 billion over May.
