In July 2023, compared to July 2022, sales of new passenger cars increased by 45% to 5,300 units.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that compared to June, the sale of new passenger cars decreased by 5%.
Among the new passenger cars in July, Toyota cars were in greatest demand - 883 registered cars.
Renault cars were in second place (564 registered cars), Volkswagen cars (525 cars) were third in the rating, Skoda cars (483 cars) were fourth, and BMW (385 cars) were fifth.
Renault Duster was the best-selling car in July (552 cars sold).
Since the beginning of the year, 32,400 new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is by 51% more than in the same period of 2022.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2022, compared to 2021, the sale of new passenger cars decreased by 63% to 37,900 units.
