In June 2023, compared to June 2022, sales of new passenger cars increased by almost 2 times to 5,600 units.
This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that compared to May, the sale of new passenger cars increased by 9%.
Among the new passenger cars in June, Toyota cars were in greatest demand - 1,076 registered cars.
Renault cars were in second place (682 registered cars), Volkswagen cars (470 cars) were third in the rating, Skoda cars (401 cars) were fourth, and BMW (319 cars) were fifth.
Renault Duster was the best-selling car in June (656 cars sold).
Since the beginning of the year, more than 27,000 new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is one and a half times more than in the same period of 2022.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2022, compared to 2021, the sale of new passenger cars decreased by 63% to 37,900 units.
