As of the morning of June 17, about 30 settlements in the Kherson Region remain flooded, and the water is at a level of 109 cm. This is stated in an official message from the leadership of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the text of which is posted on the department's page on Telegram.
As stated in the document, as of June 17, there is a gradual decrease in the water level on the Dnieper River near the Kherson post and it is at the level of 1.09 m.
11 settlements (1,509 houses) on the right bank of the Dnieper River and 17 settlements in the temporarily occupied territory remain flooded.
A total of 2,782 people were evacuated in the region.
Meanwhile, 35 buildings, as well as gardens, wells, and cellars on the territories of private households in the Bashtanskyi district remain flooded in the Mykolayiv Region.
