In May, 10,180 deals worth UAH 21.45 billion (+62% to April 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva Exchange; since the beginning of the year, the number of deals made 30,780 worth UAH 63.86 billion (+39% against the January-May period of 2022).
This follows from a statement by the exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In total, 21,370 deals worth UAH 51.6 billion (+22% to April 2023) were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in May 2023, and 87,110 deals worth UAH 187.4 billion were made since the beginning of the year (+80% to January-May 2022)
Since the beginning of the year, debt instruments have traditionally dominated the structure of trading on Perspektyva: government bonds - 84.57%, bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and countries - 15.43%.
On the exchange stock market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 92.84%, bonds of enterprises and foreign countries - 7.14%, shares, and ICI securities - 0.02%.
The share of the Perspektyva stock exchange in the total exchange turnover in May is 42%, in January-May - 34%, including in relation to government bonds - 38% and 31%, respectively, in relation to bonds of enterprises, foreign issuers and states - 84% and 74%, in the repo market - 69% and 64%, in the total number of transactions - 48% and 35%.
The volume of trading on Perspektyva in May compared to April increased by 62%, and the number of transactions increased by 53%.
4.77% of trades were conducted on the repo market, and 95.23% - on the address market.
Compared to the same period in 2022, the volume of trading on Perspektyva increased by 39%, and the number of transactions increased 2.2 times.
In May, contracts on Perspektyva were concluded with 37 financial instruments, from the beginning of 2023 - with 52.
As of May 31, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on the Perspektiva stock exchange amounted to 252, of which 162 were listed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in April, 6,660 deals worth UAH 13.24 billion (+6% to March 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva Exchange; since the beginning of the year, the number of deals made 20,600 worth UAH 42.42 billion (-2% against the January-April period of 2022).
