An exhibition-sale of Ukrainian paintings and sculpture in Slovenian town of Vrhnika will be open to public starting May 27. The event is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia.

The initiator of the exhibition, an acknowledged Ukrainian artists Eduard Bielski, has curated six similar events so far. Half of the income from the artwork sold will be allocated to one of the charitable foundations, which oversees humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war.

Inside the exhibition, the works of Eduard Bielski himself will be on display, along with paintings, sculptures and woolen goods by his wife Kateryna. Moreover, canvases and sculptures of other established Ukrainian artists – Mike Renard, Igor Nesmiianov, Natali Kosenko and others – will be showcased. Mike Renard is to reveal his new bronze piece at Slovenian exhibition, “The BIG”, which offers a view of an elephant from one angle, a dinosaur – from another.

Vrhnika exhibition will run for three weeks, with everyone invited to visit in person and purchase artwork to their liking, or select an exhibit for sale from the online catalog.
