Russia Brings 2 Missile Carriers To Black Sea. Total Salvo - Up To 16 Kalibrs

As of May 23, the aggressor state of the Russian Federation keeps 8 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including 2 missile carriers. Total salvo makes up to 16 Kalibrs.

It was reported by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Besides, 1 enemy ship is located in the Sea of ​ ​ Azov. In the Mediterranean Sea, up to 7 enemy ships are on combat duty, among them 1 carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles. Total salvo makes up to 4 missiles.

Meanwhile, in the 24 hours in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed along the Kerch-Yenikal Strait:

  • to the Sea of ​ ​ Azov - 21 vessels, of which 5 continued with the Bosphorus Strait;
  • to the Black Sea - 45 ships, of which 15 continued towards the Bosphorus Strait.

"Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS), turning off automatic identification systems (AIS), on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of   Azov," the report said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the sea of Ukraine is mined, more than 400 mines are located in it. According to Natalia Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, during this year more than 20 mines were destroyed. Sometimes mines explode uncontrollably and in this case cause damage to the area at a distance of up to 200 meters.
