Ukraine Receives 4th Tranche Of Macro-Financial Assistance From EU In Amount Of EUR 1.5 Billion

Ukraine has received the fourth tranche of large-scale macro-financial assistance from the EU in the amount of EUR 1.5 billion.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On May 23, Ukraine received the fourth tranche of EUR 1.5 billion in the framework of large-scale macro-financial assistance for 2023.

Thus, in 2023, the state budget of Ukraine already received EUR 7.5 billion of preferential funds from the EU.

The total amount of financing under this program reaches EUR 18 billion.

The funds are provided on unprecedented preferential terms for Ukraine and are directed to finance priority expenditures of the state budget.

The next tranches within the framework of the large-scale macro-financial assistance program will go to the state budget during 2023, taking into account Ukraine's compliance with the conditions agreed by the parties.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 25, Ukraine received the 3rd tranche of EUR 1.5 billion in the framework of large-scale macro-financial assistance for 2023 from the European Union.
