The number of liquidated Russian occupiers in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion is already almost 200,000. The Ukrainian military last day eliminated 520 more invaders, and also destroyed 13 enemy artillery systems, 12 drones.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 16, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel - about 199,980 (+ 520) persons eliminated,
- tanks - 3,762 (+ 3) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,348 (+ 12) units,
- artillery systems - 3,150 (+ 13) units,
- MLRS - 562 (+ 0) units,
- air defense systems - 316 (+ 0) units,
- aircraft - 308 (+ 0) units,
- helicopters - 294 (+ 0) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,732 (+ 12) units,
- cruise missiles - 973 (+ 0) units,
- ships/boats - 18 (+ 0) units,
- vehicles and tank trucks - 6,048 (+ 14) units,
- special equipment - 410 (+ 3) units.
"The data is being clarified," the General Staff added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Russian occupiers continue to lay the bodies of their dead in the Bakhmut direction. Special Operations Forces showed footage of the destruction of an assault group of invaders.
Meanwhile, snipers of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 12 occupiers on Sunday in the Bakhmut direction.
