Kuleba And Blinken Discuss Preparation Of Counteroffensive By Ukraine And US Weapons Supply

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, in a phone call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, discussed preparations for a counteroffensive and subsequent arms deliveries.

"The two discussed ongoing preparations for Ukraine’s counteroffensive, including how contributions from international partners can support its success," the State Department said in a statement following the call.

Blinken noted that Ukraine's sovereignty is vital to peace and security in Europe and reiterated the U.S. commitment to holding Russia accountable, highlighting President Joe Biden's pledge to support Ukraine as long as it takes.

Kuleba, in turn, wrote on Twitter that the conversation was aimed at coordinating subsequent arms shipments, cooperation with the Global South and the creation of a Special Tribunal.
