Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who is on a visit to the USA, said that Kyiv and Washington remain united in preparing for a counteroffensive, despite the leak of secret documents. This is reported by the CNN portal.
"We have discussed many very important issues, challenges and problems with all the officials we have met with during these three days... We are extremely and completely united with the Americans and other international partners in preparing our counteroffensive. We are confident that we will win this war. We’ll liberate our territories," said the head of the Ukrainian government.
Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine and the USA are united in such issues as military training, the supply of ammunition and weapons, including long-range missiles.
At the same time, CNN writes, the Ukrainian Prime Minister did not answer the question of whether he discussed the large-scale leak of secret documents with U.S. officials.
Shmyhal also refused to answer whether any of the American officials apologized for "leaking" secret information about the training of the Ukrainian army.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine assumed that the leak of documents was related to the Russian Federation.
"I am sure that the investigation will provide all the conclusions," Shmyhal added.
