On April 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) repelled 72 enemy attacks in four axes.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff in the AFU posted on Facebook.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy conducted one missile, and 21 airstrikes, fired 33 MLRS rockets at the positions of our troops, and the civilian infrastructure of populated areas.
The Russian Federation continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Mariyinka axes. Last day, our defenders repelled 72 enemy attacks in the indicated axes.
On the Volyn, Polisskyi, Siversk, and Slobozhanskyi axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Certain units in the territorial troops in the Armed Forces in the Russian Federation continue to be on the territory in the Republic of Belarus. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the Kursk, and Belgorod Oblasts bordering Ukraine, and continues to carry out engineering equipment in the area.
During the past day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Bleshnia, Kamiyanska Sloboda, and Hremiyach in the Chernihiv Region; Volfine, and Katerynivka in the Sumy Region, as well as Veterynarne, Hlyboke, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Zybyne, Volokhivka, Okhrimivka, Cherniaky, Komisarove, Budarky, and Dovzhanka in the Kharkiv Region.
On the Kupiyansk axis, the settlements of Kolodiazne, Kamiyanka, Topoli, Krasne Pershe, Ridkodub, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Pishchane, and Berestove in the Kharkiv Region, and Novoselivske in the Luhansk Region came under enemy fire.
On the Lyman axis, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Spirne. Makiyivka, Nevske, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk Region, and Yampolivka, Torske, and Spirne in the Donetsk Region were hit by artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, tries to take full control in the city of Bakhmut, fighting continues. During the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near the settlement of Bohdanivka. Besides, Nykyforivka, Vasiukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Markove, Bakhmut, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Kurdiumivka, Ozarianivka, Druzhba, Toretsk, and Niu York in the Donetsk Region were affected by enemy shelling.
On the Avdiyivka and Marinka axes, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, and Mariyinka settlements in the Donetsk Region, without success. The fiercest battles continue for Mariyinka. The settlements of Novokalynove, Orlivka, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, Netailove, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Mariyinka, and Pobieda in the Donetsk Region came under enemy shelling.
During the past day, the enemy did not carry out offensive actions on the Shakhtarsk axis. The enemy shelled the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Shakhtarske, Novoukraiyinka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, and Prechystivka in the Donetsk Region.
The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson axes. During the past day, the enemy shelled more than 30 settlements. Among them are Vremivka, Novopil in the Donetsk Region; Novosilka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia Region; Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, and Veletenske in the Kherson Region, and the city of Kherson.
During the day, the AFU Air Force carried out 13 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, and military equipment in the occupiers. Ukrainian defenders shot down two enemy UAVs of the Orlan-10 type.
In addition, units of missile forces, and artillery during the day struck five areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, and military equipment, as well as two radio electronic warfare stations in the enemy.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the commander in the AFU Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi said that the Russian occupying forces in Bakhmut have switched to the so-called ‘Syrian’ scorched earth tactics.
In the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, tries to take full control in the city of Bakhmut, fierce battles continue.
