In March 2023, consumer prices rose by 1.5%.
This is stated in the report of the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages in March increased by 2.2%, for clothes and shoes - increased by 12.5%, for housing and utility services - decreased by 0.1%, for services related to with health care - increased by 0.6%, for education - increased by 0.2%.
Compared to March 2022, consumer prices rose by 21.3% in March 2023.
In January-March 2023, inflation made 3.0%.
In March 2023, the core consumer price index increased by 1.3%.
In January-March 2023, the core consumer price index increased by 2.5%.
Core inflation is a sub-index of the consumer price index.
The core CPI (core inflation) is a part of inflation that shows the dynamics of free prices without taking into account items whose prices are affected by administrative and seasonal factors.
