In March, 7,740 deals worth UAH 12.45 billion (+88% to February 2023) were concluded on the Perspektyva Exchange; since the beginning of the year, the number of deals made 13,940 worth UAH 29.17 billion (-27% against the January-March period of 2022).
This follows from a statement by the exchange, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In total, 19,570 deals worth UAH 38.3 billion (+54% to February 2023) were concluded on the stock exchanges of Ukraine in March, and 47,050 deals worth UAH 93.7 billion were made since the beginning of the year (-1% to January-March 2022)
Since the beginning of the year, debt instruments have traditionally dominated the structure of trading on Perspektyva: government bonds – 85.53%, bonds of enterprises and foreign countries – 14.47%. On the exchange stock market in general, trading is also observed mainly in the debt segment: government bonds - 93.28%, bonds of enterprises and foreign countries - 6.71%, shares, and ICI securities - 0.01%.
The volume of trading on Perspektyva in March compared to February increased by 88%, and the number of transactions - increased by 155%. 5.69% of trades were conducted on the repo market, 1.00% - on the bid market, and 93.31% - on the address market.
Compared to the same period in 2022, the volume of trading on Perspektyva decreased by 27%, but the number of transactions increased 1.9 times.
In March, contracts on Perspektyva were concluded with 33 financial instruments (+1 until February), from the beginning of 2023 - from 43 (-4 until January-March 2022)
As of March 31, 2023, the number of securities and other financial instruments admitted to trading on Perspektyva was 257, of which 163 were listed (-24 and -9 until March 2022, respectively).
Structure of issues (series) by types of financial instruments: 177 - government bonds and government derivatives (163 - domestic, 14 - foreign loans), 34 - other bonds (22 - corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 8 - corporate bonds of foreign issuers, 4 - bonds of a foreign state ), 31 – shares (18 – Ukrainian issuers, 11 – foreign issuers, 2 – KIF shares), 8 – investment certificates, 7 – option certificates.
The number of members of Perspektyva as of March 31, 2023 - 60, admitted to trading - 52 (maximum values among stock exchanges of Ukraine).
The number of Perspektyva concluding contracts members was 31 in March (+2 before February), 32 since the beginning of the year. In March, DALIZ-FINANCE LLC (Kyiv) received the status of a stock exchange member.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the trading volume on the Perspektyva Exchange decreased by 34% month over month to UAH 6.64 billion in February.
