As of April 3, the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, keeps five ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including two carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles. The total volley can reach 12 missiles.
This follows from a statement by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In addition, there is one enemy ship in the Sea of Azov. There are seven Russian ships in the Mediterranean Sea, including three missile carriers with a total salvo of up to 20 Kalibrs.
It is reported that during the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out by:
- to the Sea of Azov – 14 vessels, of which six vessels continued their movement in the direction of the Bosporus Strait;
- to the Black Sea – 24 vessels, of which seven vessels continued their movement in the direction of the Bosporus Strait;
"The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov," the message reads.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the same situation was observed on April 2: five enemy ships were on combat duty in the Black Sea, two of which were carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles.
Meanwhile, on April 2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 70 enemy attacks in four directions - the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Mariyinka directions.
