The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko and the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Donetsk Region announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"For March 28, Russians wounded 5 residents of the Donetsk Region: 3 - in Bakhmut, 2 - in the city of Chasiv Yar," Kyrylenko wrote on a Telegram channel.
The police last day documented 18 strikes in the Donetsk Region.
Russian troops fired shells at the cities of Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar, the village of Velyka Novosilka, the villages of Karlivka, Vovchenka.
"The invaders fired from aviation, Grad MLRS, artillery. 2 residential buildings and the plant's workshop were damaged," the National Police said.
The invaders attacked Avdiivka from aviation, Grads and artillery.
The city withstood 7 attacks per day.
An infrastructure facility was damaged, there was no information about the victims.
As a result of artillery shelling, 3 residents of Bakhmut and 2 of Chasiv Yar were wounded.
The police and the SSU opened criminal proceedings under Article 448 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 26, 10 settlements of the Donetsk Region were under shelling of the invaders, 1 person was killed and 2 were wounded.
