Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko (Servant of the People faction) is sure that Russian President Vladimir Putin is panicking about the visit of US President Joseph Biden to Kyiv.
He told Ukrainian News Agency about this.
"I am sure that after this visit, Putin is simply in a panic. Psychologically, he is already broken. He failed to split the West in support of Ukraine. And he failed to weaken the aid to Ukraine from the US and Europe," the MP believes.
In his opinion, the visit of the American President showed the priority of Ukraine for the USA.
Merezhko believes that after this visit, Ukraine can count on even greater military-technical and comprehensive support.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy will discuss with US President Joseph Biden during his visit to Kyiv how Ukraine can win this year.
On Monday, Biden made an unexpected visit to Kyiv.
On February 8, Biden said that Russian President Vladimir Putin "has already lost Ukraine", and he also added that aid to Ukraine during the war is indefinite.
