As of the morning of Thursday, February 16, the Ukrainian military eliminated 690 Russian soldiers in one day. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 140,460 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 6 tanks and 10 armored combat vehicles and a helicopter.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to February 16, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 140,460 (+690) persons were eliminated,
- tanks - 3,296 (+6) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 6,517 (+10) units,
- artillery systems - 2,306 (+3) units,
- MLRS - 466 (+0) units,
- air defense systems - 239 (+3) units,
- aircraft - 298 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 287 (+1) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level - 2,012 (+1),
- cruise missiles - 857 (+0),
- ships/boats - 18 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 5,167 (+6) units,
- special equipment - 219 (+0).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to data as of Wednesday morning, February 15, the Ukrainian military eliminated 690 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 139,770 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 4 tanks and 7 self-propelled guns.
Meanwhile, the Armed Forces repelled 17 attacks and destroyed the Alligator helicopter of the Russians.
