President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Serhii Lysak as the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Yurii Malashko - of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, and Oleksandr Prokudin - of the Kherson Regional State Administration. This is stated in decrees No. 65-67 of February 7, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
From July 2022, Lysak held the position of head of the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, from May 2020 to July 2022, he was the head of the SSU Directorate in the Zhytomyr Region.
Malashko was the acting head of the Anti-Terrorist Center at the SSU, the head of the Joint Center for the Coordination of Searches, the Release of Illegally Deprived Persons in the Area of Implementation of Measures to Ensure National Security and Defense, Repelling and Deterring Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions at the SSU.
From 2019 to February 2022, Prokudin worked as the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson Region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Tuesday, the Cabinet of Ministers has agreed on the draft decrees of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the appointment of Serhii Lysak as the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Yurii Malashko as the chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, and Oleksandr Prokudin as chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
On January 24, Zelenskyy dismissed the heads of 5 regional state administrations: Kyiv - Oleksii Kuleba, Dnipropetrovsk - Valentyn Reznichenko, Zaporizhzhia - Oleksandr Starukh, Sumy - Dmytro Zhyvytskyi and Kherson - Yaroslav Yanushevych.
