The Cabinet of Ministers has agreed on the draft decrees of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the appointment of Serhii Lysak as the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Yurii Malashko as the chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, and Oleksandr Prokudin as chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Lysak since July 2022 served as the head of the department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
In May 2020 - July 2022, he was the head of the SSU department in the Zhytomyr Region.
Malashko was the acting head of the Anti-Terrorist Center under the SSU, the head of the Joint Center for the Coordination of Search, Release of Illegally Deprived Persons in the Area of Implementation of Measures to Ensure National Security and Defense, Repulse and Deter the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions under the SSU.
Prokudin previously worked as the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson Region.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 24, Zelenskyy dismissed the heads of 5 regional state administrations: Kyiv - Oleksii Kuleba, Dnipropetrovsk - Valentyn Reznichenko, Zaporizhzhia - Oleksandr Starukh, Sumy - Dmytro Zhyvytskyi and Kherson - Yaroslav Yanushevych.
