RF Sends 11 Ships To Black Sea, Only One Of Them Is Kalibr Missile Carrier - General Staff

Russia has sent 11 ships to the Black Sea on combat duty, and only one of them is a Kalibr cruise missile carrier with a total salvo of 8 missiles.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In the Sea of Azov, the enemy continues to control sea communications, keeping one ship on combat duty.

There are 10 enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, 5 of them are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, the total salvo is 72 missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out: to the Sea of Azov - 23 vessels, of which 8 vessels were moving from the Bosphorus Strait; to the Black Sea - 16 vessels, of which 4 vessels continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

The Russian Federation continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of Saturday, January 28, Russia has 12 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including 2 missile carriers with a total salvo of 12 missiles.
