About five mobile crematoria are driving behind the advanced positions of the Russians.
This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar with reference to the data from the Defense Intelligence.
According to her, occupiers carry out cremations without any identification and accounting of the bodies of the dead.
"In this way, the Russian command hides the huge losses of personnel and continues to apply the traditional Russian practice of depriving the families of the dead of benefits and compensation advertised by Russian propaganda," Maliar said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) confirmed that the Russians brought crematoria to Ukraine not for their soldiers, but for civilians.
Earlier, it was also reported that the Russian troops placed 13 mobile crematoria in Mariupol. The streets are cleared of the bodies of dead residents.
