The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Vasyl Volodin as a board member of the national joint-stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine.
This is stated in governmental order 1065 dated January 6, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Appoint Vasyl Volodin as a board member of the Naftogaz of Ukraine for the period until the new composition of the supervisory board of Naftogaz makes decisions regarding the formation of the board of the said company, but no later than April 29, 2023," it says.
Previously, Volodin held the position of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, as well as the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 25, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the board members of Naftogaz of Ukraine Vladyslav Volovyk and Olena Boichenko.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleksii Chernyshov to the post of chairman of Naftogaz of Ukraine as of November 4.
On November 1, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Yurii Vitrenko as the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
In the first half of the year, the Naftogaz of Ukraine group increased its loss 34.6 times to UAH 57.2 billion.
