The Ukroboronprom state concern launched serial production of 82 mm fragmentation mines abroad. This was reported by the press service of the Ukroboronprom state concern.
According to the press service of the concern, the mines are manufactured at the facilities of one of the NATO member countries.
It is noteworthy that the mine improved by Ukroboronprom is many times better than the regular one - 2-2.5 times more fragments are formed than usual during the explosion. The size and shape of the fragments are also better than standard ones.
"So, according to the standard, during the rupture of a standard mine, the number of fragments that should hit the target at a distance of 5 meters should reach 198 units, at a distance of 10 meters - 70 units, and at a distance of 15 meters - 41 units. In the ammunition, improved by specialists of Ukroboronprom enterprises, are 460, 140 and 69 fragments, respectively," the press service emphasizes.
The 82 mm artillery fragmentation mine is designed to destroy enemy manpower from a mortar at a distance of up to 4,500 meters.
It will be recalled that the Ukroboronprom state concern has entered the final stage of tests of the Ukrainian attack drone.
Earlier, Ukroboronprom announced the appearance of Ukrainian attack drones.
Meanwhile, Ukrspetssystem has developed a new SHARK unmanned aircraft system, which is resistant to work in EW conditions, and which can correct the American HIMARS rocket artillery systems. It is emphasized that the development of this reconnaissance UAV from the project to the first flight took less than six months. Now SHARK is fully ready for use in combat conditions.
