Losses of personnel of the Russian troops on January 8 increased by 590 to 111,760 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 3 helicopters and 11 tanks last day.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to January 01, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 111,760 (+590) persons were eliminated,
- tanks - 3,080 (+11) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 6,147 (+17) units,
- artillery systems - 2,069 (+4) units,
- MLRS - 434 (+3) units,
- air defense systems - 217 (+0) units,
- aircraft - 285 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 275 (+3) units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 1,856 (+7),
- cruise missiles - 723 (+0),
- ships/boats - 16 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 4,809 (+8) units,
- special equipment - 183 (+0) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the previous day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated another 430 occupiers.
And over the past day, the Defense Forces from the sky and the ground have struck 24 strikes on areas of concentration and three positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. Three helicopters and three UAVs of the occupiers were destroyed. Also, the strikes of the Armed Forces destroyed a large stockpile of Russian fuel.
