In November 2022, the share of non-performing loans (NPL) in Ukrainian banks increased by 1.21 percentage point to 36.75%.
The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In November, the volume of non-performing loans increased by UAH 11.99 billion to UAH 429.5 billion.
At the same time, the share of non-performing loans in state banks increased by 1.01 percentage points during the reporting month to 51.60%, and in foreign banking groups - by 0.96 percentage points to 17.70%.
The share of non-performing loans in banks with private capital increased by 1.48 percentage points to 22.03%, while at PrivatBank it decreased by 0.09 percentage points to 70.56%.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, for 2021, the share of NPLs in the loan portfolio decreased by 11 percentage points - from 41% on January 1, 2021 to 30% on January 1, 2022.
In 2020, the share of non-performing loans in Ukrainian banks decreased from 48.4% (as of January 1, 2020) to 41% (as of January 1, 2021).
