Russia Reduces Number of Ships On Combat Duty In Black Sea - General Staff

Russia has reduced the number of ships on combat duty in the Black Sea.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Compared to January 2, on January 3 there is 1 less enemy ship on combat duty in the Black Sea, namely 6 ships.

In the Sea of Azov, the situation has not changed - there is 1 enemy ship on combat duty.

Nothing has changed in the Mediterranean sea either - 9 enemy ships, 5 of them carrying Kalibr cruise missiles, total salvo - 72 missiles.

During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out: to the Sea of Azov - 27 ships, of which 7 ships moved from the Bosphorus Strait; to the Black Sea - 30 ships, of which 7 ships continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, up to 3 Russian ships were on combat duty in the Black Sea on December 28.

Russian occupiers this year may launch a new offensive from the north or east at the same time.
