Ukrainian Exchange Trading Volume Down 29.2% To UAH 1.2 Billion In December

In December, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange decreased by 29.2% to UAH 1.210 billion over November.

The exchange has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that the total volume of trading on the Ukrainian Exchange in November was UAH 1,210,459,410.30, and the total number of transactions was 11,215.

In the trading structure for December 2022, government bonds (OVDPs) accounted for 94.61% of the total turnover, or UAH 1,145,187,008.60; shares - 2.30%, or UAH 27,826,216.39; investment certificates - 0.01%, or UAH 63,975.61; foreign securities - 3.09%, or UAH 37,382,209.70.

It is noted that in December, the index of Ukrainian shares (UX index) increased by 11.43% from 1,405.23 to 1,565.90 points.

The leaders in the share securities market in December were: Halychpнarm JSC (UAH 21.1 million), Raiffeisen Bank Aval JSC (UAH 3.0 million) and Mykolaivoblenergo (UAH 2.2 million).

The leaders of circulation on the debt securities market in December were: 204150 OVDP, repayment of 02/26/2025 (UAH 234.7 million), 200885 OVDP, repayment of 04/19/2023 (UAH 214.2 million), and 213227 OVDP, repayment of 11/01/2023 (UAH 173.8 million).

The leading operators of the stock and fund certificate market in December were Navigator-Invest, Dragon Capital and Univer Capital.

The leading operators of the bond market in December were Dragon Capital, PrivatBank and SENS Bank.

In turn, the leading operators of the foreign securities market in December were Dragon Capital, Spike-Invest and Univer Capital.

Ukrainian Exchange is a liquidity center for stocks and derivatives in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November, the trading volume on the Ukrainian Exchange increased by 65.1% to UAH 1.711 billion over October.
