Russian occupiers this year may make a new offensive from the north or east.
The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers this year will try to continue conducting offensive actions.
In neither direction did they manage to achieve their goal.
"They understand that they will lose, but they do not plan to end the war. We are considering the possibility that they could advance from the north or east at the same time. Such actions of the enemy are foreseen, and our troops are ready for this," said the representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Cherniak.
He is sure that the Russians will try to maintain the land corridor to the Crimea and capture the entire Donetsk Region.
Also, in his opinion, the invaders will not be able to cross the Dnieper to capture Kherson again.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi said that Russia is currently preparing 200,000 soldiers for a new offensive, the aggressor country can, in particular, make another attempt to capture Kyiv.
