3 Battalions In Belarus Sent To Ukrainian Border - Joint Forces Commander Naiev

"A motorized rifle battalion and two tank battalions were assigned to move to areas bordering the state border of Ukraine," said Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported on the official page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram.

"A motorized rifle battalion and two tank battalions were tasked to move to areas bordering the state border of Ukraine. In turn, on the territory of the Kyiv Region, at one of the important state facilities of critical infrastructure, training was held with units that protect and defend this facility," General Naiev said.

According to the commander, the Defense Forces also worked out elements of countering the landing of an airborne troops and sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy in the area of a critical infrastructure object: firing with mortar and artillery batteries, taking the enemy into a ring, crossing a water barrier, repelling a massive attack of unmanned aerial vehicles and completely destroying the enemy with all available means.
