Energy Commission Ups Tariff Of Ukrenergo For Transmission Of Electricity In Three Stages For 2023

The National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy and Utility Services (Energy Commission) has increased tariffs for the transmission and dispatching of electricity for the Ukrenergo national energy company in three stages for 2023.

The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Energy Commission on December 21, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, from January 1, the electricity transmission tariff will increase by 10% from UAH 345.64/MWh to UAH 380.28/MWh (without VAT); from April 1 - by another 13.1% to UAH 430.25/MWh (without VAT); from July 1, the electricity transmission tariff will increase by 12.7% to UAH 485.10/MWh (without VAT).

Also, the Energy Commission set Ukrenergo the tariff for electric energy transmission services for "green" electrometallurgy enterprises for 2023 at the level of UAH 209.42/MWh (without VAT).

In addition, the commission increased Ukrenergo's tariff for dispatching (operational and technological) management services by 9.9% from January 1, from UAH 62.13/MWh to UAH 68.28/MWh (without VAT), from April 1, the tariff will increase by another 18.4% to UAH 80.87/MWh (without VAT), from July 1 - by another 18.1% to UAH 95.54/MWh (without VAT).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December 2021, the Energy Commission increased the tariff of Ukrenergo for electricity transmission by 17.6% to UAH 345.64/MWh for 2022.

Also, the Energy Commission increased the tariff for dispatching (operational and technological) management services by 57.7% to UAH 62.13/MWh.
