Ukraine Receives EUR 200 Million Of Preferential Loan From Netherlands

Ukraine has received EUR 200 million of credit from the Netherlands through the administrative account mechanism of the International Monetary Fund.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The loan was provided on preferential terms, in particular:

- interest is accrued on the loan amount at the annual interest rate equal to the basic interest rate of the IMF (IMF basic rate of charge, fixed at the level of 3.641% per annum);

- the final repayment of the loan is carried out 10 years from the date of the loan settlement (taking into account the grace period of the loan repayment for a period of 4.5 years from the date of the loan settlement).

Credit funds are intended for financing the expenditures of the general fund of the state budget.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the state budget of Ukraine received grant funds in the amount of USD 2 billion from the World Bank Trust Fund.
