14 million tons of agricultural products exported via grain corridor – Ministry of Infrastructure

Since August 1, a total of 558 ships have left the ports of Great Odesa carrying 14 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products to the countries of Asia, Europe, and Africa.

This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"For two days (December 16-17), 4 vessels loaded with 145,000 tons of wheat left the ports of Great Odesa for Asia. Among them is the bulker STAR EMERALD with 71,000 tons of wheat for Indonesia. 23 vessels are being processed in the ports of Great Odesa. They are loaded 734,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products... In the Bosporus, 92 vessels are waiting for inspection by the JCC. The line continues to grow due to the artificial restriction of registration for inspection by the Russian Federation. For example, out of 65 vessels declared by the aggressor, only three were registered as of today," the message says.

It is noted that such a situation leads to restrictions on the work of Ukrainian ports and an under-export of products of at least 3 million tons per month.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 14, four more ships loaded with 69,500 tons of agricultural products left the sea trade ports of Great Odesa for Asian countries.

On November 17, the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov announced that the Initiative for safe transportation of agricultural products across the Black Sea was extended for 120 more days.

On August 5, the first caravan with Ukrainian grain left the seaports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
