Monetary Base Up 3.4% To UAH 758.8 Billion In November

NBU, National Bank of Ukraine, monetary base, cash in circulation, volume of cash in circulation

In November, the monetary base, which includes cash in circulation outside banks, as well as banks' reserve money and other money, increased by 3.4% to UAH 758.842 billion, according to the latest data from the National Bank.

This is evidenced by the NBU data, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the beginning of the year, the monetary base has grown by 14.5% from UAH 662.499 billion.

The money supply in November increased by 2.4% to UAH 2,381.568 billion, and since the beginning of the year it has grown by 15% from UAH 2,071.358 billion.

The volume of cash in circulation, according to the latest NBU data, in November increased by 2.8% to UAH 641.460 billion, and since the beginning of the year it has grown by 10.4% from UAH 581.011 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2021, the monetary base grew by 11.2% from UAH 595.993 billion to UAH 662.499 billion.

In 2021, the money supply increased by 12% from UAH 1,850.014 billion to UAH 2,072.399 billion.

In 2020, the monetary base increased by 24.8% from UAH 477.491 billion to UAH 595.993 billion.

In 2020, the money supply increased by 28.7% from UAH 1,438.311 billion to UAH 1,850.471 billion.
