State budget deficit amounts to UAH 170 billion in November – Finance Ministry

In November, the actual deficit of the state budget amounted to UAH 170 billion, including the general fund deficit of UAH 163.3 billion.

This is stated in a notification of the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

According to the latest data, in November 2022, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 94.4 billion.

Among the payments, the execution of which is controlled by tax and customs authorities, the main revenues were received at the expense of:

- value added tax on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine – UAH 26.8 billion;

- corporate income tax – UAH 23.6 billion;

- personal income tax and military duty – UAH 13.7 billion;

- value added tax on goods produced in Ukraine – UAH 12.0 billion (UAH 25.6 billion collected, UAH 13.6 billion reimbursed);

- rent payment for subsoil use – UAH 5.8 billion;

- excise tax – UAH 5.5 billion;

- import and export duties – UAH 2.7 billion.

In November 2022, the income of the Social Security Administration to the Pension Fund and social insurance funds amounted to UAH 39.0 billion.

According to operational information, in the first eleven months of 2022, cash expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 2,292.7 billion, including the general fund – UAH 2,078.8 billion, or 86.8% of the schedule for the reporting period.

At the same time, in November 2022, cash expenditures of the state budget were made in the amount of UAH 312.7 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 260.5 billion.

In the first eleven months of 2022, the state budget was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 810.5 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 807.5 billion, against the deficit in the amount of UAH 1,281.9 billion planned in the schedule of the general fund in the first eleven months of 2022.

In November, the actual deficit of the state budget amounted to UAH 170.0 billion, including the general fund – UAH 163.3 billion.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in October, the actual deficit of the state budget amounted to UAH 143.4 billion.

In the first ten months of 2022, the state budget was implemented with a deficit in the amount of UAH 638.7 billion, including the general fund - in the amount of UAH 643.4 billion, against the deficit in the amount of UAH 1,121.6 billion planned in the schedule of the general fund for January-October 2022.

The Ministry of Finance fulfilled the plan for borrowing to the state budget by 89.7% and attracted UAH 932.4 billion in January-October 2022.
