Negative Balance Of Foreign Trade In Goods Worsens By USD 3,154.7 Million To USD 5,418.7 Million In 9M

In January-September 2022, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 5,418.7 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-September 2022, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 3,154.7 million year over year (negative balance in January-September 2021 was USD 2,264 million).

In January-September 2022, Ukraine exported goods for USD 33,065.5 million, down 31.4% year over year.

In January-August 2022, Ukraine imported goods for USD 38,484.2 million, down 23.7% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-August 2022, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 5,421.1 million.

In 2021, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 4,727.5 million.

In 2020, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 4,878.4 million.

In 2021, the negative balance of trade in goods improved by USD 416.8 million year over year (negative balance in 2020 was USD 5,144.3 million).
