Prigozhin tries to raise his authority – British intelligence

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the owner of the Russian private military company Wagner Group, has become more open in his statements and is trying to polish his authority.

This is stated in the intelligence review by the British Ministry of Defense.

As noted, in the last two months, Prigozhin has abandoned any claims that he is not connected to the Wagner Group and has become more open in his public statements.

"Most likely, he is trying to polish his authority in the tense Russian national security system," believes British intelligence.

And on October 23, Prigozhin stated that Wagner's forces were advancing 100-200 meters per day, which, he said, was "normal for modern warfare."

At the same time, according to military doctrine, Russian troops plan to advance 30 km or more per day under most conditions. Intelligence notes that in February, Russian troops planned to advance 1,000 km through Ukraine within a month.

Instead, in September, Ukrainian forces advanced more than 20 km per day.
