In some regions, distribution network operators have introduced local restrictions on electricity consumption.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"This morning, the enemy again launched a massive missile attack on energy infrastructure facilities. New damage has complicated the situation in the energy system of Ukraine. Stabilization schedules of hourly outages, which were introduced from 6 a.m. in all regions, are currently canceled. To eliminate accidents caused by missile fire, in some regions, operators of distribution networks have introduced local restrictions for consumers within the regions," the statement says.
It is noted that in the future, the amount of the required restriction of consumers will be regulated depending on the current situation in the power system.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Russian missiles and drones hit 10 regions on Monday, October 31, damaging 18 facilities, most of which are energy-related, and cutting off electricity in hundreds of settlements in seven regions of Ukraine.
