On Monday, October 31, 10 regions were hit by Russian missiles and drones, where 18 objects were damaged, most of them energy-related, hundreds of settlements in seven regions of Ukraine were de-energized. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Russian terrorists have again massively attacked Ukraine. Their target is not military facilities, but civilian critical infrastructure. Missiles and drones hit 10 regions, where 18 facilities were damaged, most of which are energy facilities. Hundreds of settlements in seven regions of Ukraine were de-energized," he informed.

According to him, local emergency power outages continue in the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv Regions.

Shmyhal emphasized that today, as in previous weeks, it is important that all Ukrainians consciously consume energy and reduce the load on the network.

The Prime Minister noted that the consequences could have been much worse, but thanks to the heroic and professional work of the Air Defense Forces, 44 of the more than 50 missiles fired at Ukraine were shot down.

He also thanked the energy workers who are eliminating the consequences of the Russian attacks.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Monday, October 31, due to damage to an energy facility near Kyiv, 350,000 apartments in Kyiv were left without electricity, 80% of the capital's consumers remained without water supply.
