Losses of personnel of the Russian troops on October 24 increased by 480 to 68,420 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 3 helicopters, 1 aircraft and 21 tanks over the past day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the day, the enemy lost 1 aircraft (total - 271), 3 helicopters (total - 248), 21 tanks (total - 2,611), 26 armored fighting vehicles (total - 5,321), 1 artillery system (total - 1,674), 2 units of rocket artillery (total - 377), 1 air defense vehicle (total - 190), 10 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total - 4,054) and 2 drones (total - 1,372).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 149 units of special equipment, 350 cruise missiles and 16 ships/boats.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 23, losses of personnel of Russian troops increased by 470 to 67,940 killed, equipment - by 6 tanks and 9 drones.

On October 24, the Air Force shot down two Russian Ka-52 Alligator helicopters in half an hour.
